Home again.

What an amazing experience.

I am very proud to say that the boys were a credit to themselves and to St. Andrew’s everywhere we went. I was told repeatedly that they were the best group that had been seen, that they were polite, attentive and asked intelligent questions. Restaurant managers thanked me for their behaviour and manners, tour guides wished that all groups were like St. Andrew’s boys, even Manatees were happy to see us!

The trip took a lot of organising but went without a hitch. I would like to thank the staff that helped to look after the boys, Miss Harris, Ms Corcoran-Daldy, Mrs Steele and Mr Farmer for making the trip so enjoyable for all. Thanks also to parents for allowing their sons to participate but thanks mostly go to the boys; you made me laugh and you made it easy for me. Happy days!

Been a great holiday!!!! – Dan O’C

Been a great holiday!!!! Can not believe how much I have learnt, and it has been a great experience. I will upload pictures seperate to the days they took place. I guess I should thank everyone for putting up with 33 boys… I mean sharing a room with 2 others is bad enough. But yeah its been an amazing experience. 🙂

Joey Harrison (SECOND BLOG AS FIRST ONE GOT DELETED!!!)

Well so far it’s been brilliant apart from being sick on the first two minutes of the coach journey and now I have to sit at the front of the coach with the teachers ‘GREAT FUN’.  The plane journey was fine, ohh and I bet you like the pictures of me sleeping. (thanks again teachers)

The first day we went to ‘Animal kingdom’ which we had a tour around and we had a amazing tour guide called Katie who made it really interesting, she even came on the roller coasters with us. I got plenty of photos of animals and people. But the best bit was going on the same roller coaster ten times and funnily anough I wasn’t sick (that proves those teachers!)

One the second day we went to Epcot which was really good I went to a beautiful English restaurant which I had a very English chicken curry.  When I was their I went to a extreme NASCAR sort of roller coaster which was really, really quick…well 64.49mph. Once we got back we had a game of water polo and guess what I didn’t touch the ball once because it was in the deep end. (I hate being tall)

The third day we went to the sea life centre and when we were their I stared at the sting rays for about one hour. After that it started to rain, thunder, lighting and like England it was boiling hot all at the same time. And as every American hid in shelter while us English were walking around with no coats on getting soaked.

Today we went to NASA which was really good. The lunch was amazing even though I didn’t ask the astronaut any questions it was still really interesting. After the lunch we went and saw the control tower and the runway (fact: all the concrete could make a highway from NASA to Miami)  Again tonight it was stormy so we were not allowed in the pool which means no water polo.

Tomorrow we are going to ‘Blizzard beach’ and I’m crossing my fingers it will not rain. And I can not wait for all the roller coasters. And now I have to finish so thats also means bed. Goodnight.
